The second edition of the Aragón Design and Business Awards, held at the Aragonese Center for Industrial Design (CADI), was inaugurated by Mar Vaquero, acting Vice President of Presidency, Economy, and Justice. Vaquero emphasized the importance of industrial design as a driver of innovation and competitiveness in Aragonese companies.
Awards that Strengthen the Relationship Between Design and Business
The Aragón Design and Business Awards underscore the significance of design as a strategic tool in the business realm. This event brought together companies, design professionals, and institutional representatives, highlighting how design facilitates access to new markets, the launch of innovative products, and increased competitiveness.
Griferías Grober was awarded in the Product category for its focus on human-centered design, enhancing user experience through proprietary technological solutions. Airfal International S.L. was a finalist in this category. In the Product-Brand Presentation category, Pastelería Tolosana received the award for its comprehensive brand identity renewal, while Moncayo Natural & Social was a finalist.
Recognition of Design Professionals and Special Mentions
Miguel Ángel Pérez Arteaga was awarded in the Design Professionals category for his multidisciplinary career and ability to tackle various creative challenges, always with a client-centered approach. Miguel Fontgivell Ariño was a finalist in this category.
Numéricco Creativos received a special mention as an Innovative Entity for its methodology that integrates brand, technology, and business, promoting strategic design and teamwork. Pensadores de Ideas was recognized for its support of innovation, assisting institutions and companies in innovation processes with a human and collaborative approach.
The CADI as a Promoter of Industrial Design in Aragón
The Aragonese Center for Industrial Design (CADI) plays a crucial role in training and advising businesses. Through its Industrial Design and Digitalization Laboratory program, in 2025, 26 companies participated in redesigning products in sectors such as education, commercial furniture, and agricultural monitoring.
Additionally, the General Directorate of Industrial Promotion and Innovation annually promotes a line of grants to foster innovation through industrial design, with a budget of 250,000 euros. In the latest call, 26 of the 49 submitted applications were awarded, reflecting Aragón’s commitment to the development of industrial design.
