1. Organizing entity
GoAragón, whose full legal identification must be included in these terms and conditions, is organizing, in collaboration with Javier Sierra and Editorial EDAF, a promotional giveaway on the occasion of Ocultura 2026.
The giveaway will take place through GoAragón’s official Instagram profile and will be governed by these official terms and conditions.
2. Purpose and prizes
The purpose of this initiative is to encourage GoAragón readers and followers to participate in activities related to Ocultura 2026 and to promote an interest in reading.
Two Editorial EDAF book packs will be awarded, each containing the following titles:
- Guide to Magical Spain I.
- Guide to Magical Spain II.
Two different winners will be selected, and each will receive a pack containing both books.
A total of four copies will be awarded, distributed in two packs.
The prizes may not be exchanged for cash or substituted for other products at the winners’ request.
3. Geographic scope and participants
Natural persons aged 18 or older who reside in Spain, hold an Instagram account, and meet the requirements set out in these terms and conditions may participate in the giveaway.
Participation is free and does not require the purchase of any product or service.
Individuals directly involved in organizing and managing the giveaway may not participate.
4. Participation dates
The giveaway will begin on November 4, 2026, upon publication of the announcement on GoAragón’s Instagram profile.
The participation period will end on November 5, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., according to mainland Spain time.
Entries submitted outside the stated period will not be accepted. The winners are expected to be selected on November 6, 2026.
5. How to participate
To participate, entrants must meet the following requirements:
- Follow GoAragón’s official Instagram profile.
- Follow Editorial EDAF’s official Instagram profile.
- Follow Javier Sierra’s official Instagram profile.
- Like the official giveaway post.
- Leave a comment on that post tagging one person through their Instagram profile.
Each participant may submit multiple comments, provided they tag different people in each one.
Each valid comment will constitute an independent entry. However, the same person may win only one of the two packs.
Comments submitted through fake, automated, or fraudulently created accounts will not be accepted.
6. Selection of winners
Once the participation period has ended, a random selection will be conducted among all valid entries.
Two primary winners and at least two alternate winners will be selected. Alternate winners may receive the prizes if any primary winner fails to meet the requirements, declines the prize, or does not respond within the established period.
The organizer will verify that the winners meet the participation requirements before confirming the award of the prizes.
The selection will be conducted using a random-draw tool or an equivalent procedure that ensures impartiality.
7. Notification of winners
The winners are expected to be announced on November 6, 2026, through GoAragón’s official Instagram profile.
The organizer may contact them by private message from GoAragón’s official account.
Winners will have 48 hours from notification to respond and provide the information needed to arrange delivery of the prize.
If a winner does not respond within that period, declines the prize, or fails to meet the requirements, the corresponding alternate winner will be contacted.
The organizer will not request passwords, banking information, or payments of any kind in order to receive the prize.
8. Prize delivery
Each winner will receive a pack containing the two books specified in Section 2.
The prizes will be delivered by shipment to the postal address provided by each winner, within the Spanish territory covered by the giveaway.
Standard shipping costs will be borne by the organizer or collaborating entity.
Contact and shipping information will be used exclusively to arrange delivery of the prizes, unless another legal basis permits additional processing.
9. Personal data protection
The personal data provided by participants and winners will be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation, and Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and the Guarantee of Digital Rights.
The data controller will be the entity that owns GoAragón, whose identification and contact information must be included in the final version of these terms and conditions.
The data will be processed for the purpose of managing participation, verifying compliance with the requirements, selecting and notifying the winners, and delivering the prizes.
The legal basis for processing will be the performance of the participation terms accepted by the data subjects and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations.
The data may be shared with Editorial EDAF and shipping providers only where necessary to arrange delivery of the prizes, subject to the corresponding legal safeguards.
The data will be retained for the time necessary to manage the giveaway and subsequently for the periods required to address any potential legal liabilities.
Participants may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability, where applicable, through the data controller’s contact channels.
They may also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
10. Liability and operation of Instagram
This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated in any way with Instagram or Meta.
Participants acknowledge that they provide the information necessary to participate to the organizing entity and not to Instagram.
Instagram is released from any liability related to the organization, conduct, and awarding of the prizes, to the extent permitted by law.
The organizer will not be liable for technical issues beyond its control that prevent proper participation, without prejudice to participants’ rights.
11. Changes, incidents, and fraud
GoAragón reserves the right to exclude fraudulent entries or entries that fail to comply with these terms and conditions.
It may also introduce changes justified by force majeure, serious technical issues, or other exceptional circumstances, provided that participants’ rights are respected and the changes are communicated through the same channels used to announce the giveaway.
Any changes must comply with the principles of transparency, equality, and good faith.
12. Acceptance of the terms and conditions
Participation in the giveaway constitutes full acceptance of these official terms and conditions.
Failure to comply with any of their conditions may result in exclusion from participation or loss of entitlement to the prize.
The terms and conditions will be available for consultation throughout the participation period.
13. Applicable law
The giveaway will be governed by applicable Spanish law, including the relevant provisions on personal data protection, consumers and users, and commercial promotions.
Any dispute will be resolved in accordance with the applicable legal rules on jurisdiction, while always respecting consumer rights.
