Government of Aragon Offers €195,000 in Craft Grants

The Government of Aragon has launched a €195,000 grant program to fund the promotion, training, digitalization, and investment in Aragonese craftsmanship. Nonprofit organizations dedicated to advancing the sector have 10 business days to submit their applications.

Grants covering up to 80% to support Aragonese craftsmanship

The call for applications, published in the Official Gazette of Aragon, provides grants covering up to 80% of eligible expenses. It is aimed at Aragon-based nonprofit organizations whose missions include promoting craftsmanship.

The support program will fund initiatives related to promotion, sector development, and investment in the craft industry. The total budget amounts to €195,000, with applications due within the next 10 business days.

Trade fairs, training, and outreach for craft trades

The grants may be used for promotional and advertising activities for Aragonese craftsmanship, as well as for organizing trade fairs, exhibitions, fashion shows, awards, and other sector-related events.

The program also includes funding for specialized training activities and initiatives to raise awareness of craft trades among schoolchildren and the general public. These measures are intended to broaden knowledge and awareness of these professions.

Digitalization, equipment, and staffing to modernize the sector

The order provides for the hiring of staff needed to carry out promotional, training, and event-organizing activities. It will also finance tools, small-scale machinery, and equipment for exhibitions, courses, and other industry initiatives.

Digitalization is among the eligible investments, including applications and programs for digital marketing, e-commerce, websites, product catalogs, and digitalization kits. Under this program, organizations may cover expenses related to modernizing and promoting Aragonese craftsmanship.
