Aragón has been selected as the Guest Autonomous Community at Madrid Fusión 2026, a recognition that highlights its growing influence on the international gastronomic scene. This event, which will take place from January 26 to 28 at IFEMA Madrid, will gather more than 25,000 professionals from the sector, including renowned chefs, sommeliers, researchers, and industry leaders.
The designation of Aragón as a leading figure at this gastronomic summit reflects the rise of its cuisine, as well as the efforts of chefs, producers, and businesses that have taken the culinary identity of the region beyond its borders. Amparo Cuéllar, General Director of Innovation and Food Promotion, has emphasized that the planned program is a fusion of talent, territory, and innovation, featuring a cuisine that remains true to its Aragonese roots.
Program of Activities and Institutional Presence
During the event, Aragón will offer a wide program that includes presentations, tastings, culinary experiences, and sampling events. Chefs and producers from the three Aragonese provinces will actively participate, supported by an institutional stand of Aragón Alimentos featuring 21 exhibitors. Additionally, there will be an exclusive space in the VIP room for tastings.
Among the highlights are the tribute to Teodoro Bardají on January 26, a gala dinner featuring Aragonese products, a wine pairing tasting from the region, an auction of black truffles from Teruel, and a presentation on Aragonese pastries scheduled for January 28.
Opportunity for the Agrifood Sector
Madrid Fusión 2026 represents an unparalleled platform for Aragón to enhance the visibility of its food products, open new markets, and establish itself as a benchmark for quality and diversity in the agrifood sector. This event will not only showcase the culinary richness of the region but also position it on the global gastronomic map.
