The Official Bulletin of Aragon (BOA) has announced the Official Calendar of Fairs and Exhibitions for 2026, which includes a total of 122 events distributed throughout the autonomous community. This increase in the number of fairs, with six new additions, reflects the dynamism and cultural and economic diversity of Aragon.
Geographical Distribution of Fairs in Aragon
The 2026 calendar shows a balanced distribution of events across the three provinces of Aragon. The province of Huesca leads with 49 fairs, followed by Teruel with 45 and Zaragoza with 28. This distribution not only facilitates access to events for residents of each area but also promotes tourism and commercial exchange throughout the region.
Among the new additions, Huesca includes the Cheese Fair in Canfranc, Elfiñena in Ontiñena, and «Huesca is Sweet» in the capital. Teruel, for its part, enriches its offering with the Ceramic and Engraving Fair in Torre del Compte and the Craft Beer and D.O. Teruel Ham Fair in Utrillas. Zaragoza adds the «Bahnhof Fest» in the capital, thus expanding its diversity of events.
Thematic Variety and Objectives of the Fairs
The official calendar of fairs and exhibitions stands out not only for its geographical breadth but also for the thematic diversity of the events. The fairs cover sectors such as agriculture, hunting, craftsmanship, and culture, providing a platform for promoting local products and fostering Aragonese culture. These events are designed to boost business dynamization and socioeconomic development throughout Aragon, providing business opportunities and collaboration among different sectors.
The growth in the number of fairs and the inclusion of new events reflect Aragon’s commitment to strengthening its economic and cultural fabric, consolidating itself as a benchmark in the organization of fairs in Spain.
