Two Aragonese Centers Present Projects at the III PROA+ Conference
Two educational centers from Aragon are participating this week in the III National Conference of the PROA+ program (Program for Guidance, Advancement, and Educational Enrichment), being held at the Navarre Conference Palace until October 30th. These centers have been selected for being models of good practices in vulnerable educational environments.
The CEIP Julián Sanz Ibáñez in Zaragoza and the IES Fernando Lázaro Carreter in Utrillas (Teruel) are presenting their experiences and projects in various workshops. The topics addressed include change management and the implementation of shared teaching with students who have learning difficulties.
The PROA+ network in Aragon consists of 87 participating centers. The program is aimed at institutions with significant educational complexity, with a critical requirement that the enrolled students in vulnerable situations exceed 30 percent. The centers have been involved in the program since the 2021-2024 cycle.
The program implements a collaborative contract between centers and the educational administration that adapts educational projects to the specific needs of students. It promotes the creation of open spaces that encourage personalized learning through active methodologies. The centers receive continuous guidance and training throughout the school year. The program is coordinated by the Equity Service of the General Directorate of Educational Policy, Academic Organization, and Lifelong Education of the Department of Education, Culture, and Sport of the Government of Aragon.
