Benito Tesier Takes Office as President of CEOE Aragón in 2026

Benito Tesier has been elected President of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Aragon (CEOE Aragon) at the Extraordinary General Assembly held on January 12, 2026. The election took place by acclamation, as there was a single candidate to replace the outgoing president, Miguel Marzo. Tesier becomes the ninth president of the confederation since its founding in 1982.

Vision and Commitments of the New President

In his inauguration, Tesier expressed that he felt excited and very proud. He emphasized that businesses are fundamental for the future, stating that social welfare is built from the business, which takes risks, invests, innovates, creates jobs, trains talent, and pays taxes. This approach reflects his commitment to strengthening the business fabric as a driver of social development.

Strategic Axes of His Management

The new president has outlined several priority axes for his term. First, competitiveness and investment stand out as essential, requiring less bureaucracy, reasonable timelines, and regulatory stability. Additionally, Tesier seeks to maintain Aragon as an industrial land, promoting industry and innovation.

Another key pillar is practical training, aiming to achieve training that is practical and tailored to the reality of the labor market. Likewise, Tesier emphasizes the importance of improving business reputation, promoting a sense of pride among entrepreneurs and organizations.

Regarding territorial issues, Tesier advocates for maximizing aid in Teruel and advocating for strategic infrastructures such as the Central Crossing through the Pyrenees and the Cantabrian-Mediterranean Corridor, which are vital for regional development.

Context of His Presidency and Professional Profile

Tesier assumes the presidency at a time he himself describes as decisive, marked by technological transformation, sustainability demands, and geopolitical tensions. In this context, Aragon is positioned to turn these challenges into opportunities, highlighting the importance of social dialogue as a space to build useful solutions and unity of business action.

With over 30 years of experience in the automotive sector, Tesier is the General Director of Brembo Iberia and has chaired the Automotive and Mobility Cluster of Aragon since 2012. His career includes key roles in Brembo’s international strategy, with developments in China and vice presidential positions in several national business organizations.

For his part, the outgoing president, Miguel Marzo, acknowledged the great honor of having led CEOE Aragon for four years, highlighting that the organization is in good hands with Tesier, who will continue to promote values such as social dialogue, institutional stability, and business support.
