Borja will host the 40th Subida Ciudad de Borja this Saturday, July 5th, one of the most emblematic competitions in Aragonese motorsport. The event returns to the calendar as a scoring event for the Aragon Mountain Championship after several years absent from the series.
The race is organized by the Automobile Club of Zaragoza in collaboration with the Aragonese Federation of Motorsport and the Borja City Council. The course will take place over a nearly eight-kilometer stretch of asphalt that connects Borja and El Buste, a route known for its challenges and for attracting numerous fans.
This year’s edition will gather around thirty drivers across touring cars and single-seaters, reflecting the continued appeal of the event within regional motorsport. After fifteen years without being part of the regional championship, its return is seen as a boost for the discipline and an opportunity to reclaim a historical event.
The day will include checks, practice sessions, and two race runs, concluding with the trophy presentation. Additionally, the organization has planned parallel activities aimed at enhancing the festive atmosphere and bringing the competition closer to the public.
The Subida Ciudad de Borja thus maintains its status as a reference point in Aragon, combining tradition, sport, and passion for motors in a highly anticipated edition.
