Ibercaja Pensión and Pensumo participated in the first edition of EIOPA’s Pensions Techsprint in Frankfurt, from June 17 to 19, standing out for their active contribution in the search for innovative solutions to close the pension gap in Europe.
The Ibercaja delegation, composed of Víctor Royo, Arantza Barrera, and David Herrando, participated in three working groups focused on women, temporary workers, self-employed individuals, and Generation Z. The team led by Víctor Royo excelled by winning the challenge aimed at women with a digital application proposal that incorporates gamification and behavioral nudges to encourage savings.
Pensumo was presented in the inaugural session as a success story, highlighting its digital, inclusive, and scalable approach. This project has been validated in the Spanish regulatory sandbox, having more than 32,000 downloads and 190 affiliate merchants.
