The Department of Education will prepare a space at the CRA Goya de Caminreal (Teruel) to create a classroom for early education. This initiative is part of a plan to establish 7 new rural classrooms that will operate starting in the 2025/2026 academic year.
Investment of 148,861 euros for the new classroom in Caminreal
The total investment for this project is 148,861.55 euros, with a construction timeline set at 77 days. Work is expected to begin in June 2025 and is anticipated to be completed just before the start of the next academic year.
The classroom preparation will take place on the ground floor of the center, located at Plaza Escuela No. 3. Modifications will include the conversion of 2 existing classrooms into 3 distinct spaces, ensuring that the minimum area of each classroom is 20 m² and includes a rest and hygiene area. Additionally, movable partitions will be installed for flexible use, along with new laminate flooring and an acoustic false ceiling.
This new space in Caminreal adds to other classrooms being created in Teruel, such as at the CEIP Villa de Utrillas. The initiative also extends to other provinces like Huesca, where classrooms will open at the CRA Arco iris (Pomar de Cinca) and the CEIP San Gregorio (Ontiñena), as well as in Zaragoza, with new facilities at the CEIP Antonio Martínez Garay (Casetas) and the CEIP Subpradel (Sobradiel).
The annual investment allocated to education for the 0 to 3 years age group reaches 20 million euros, with plans to develop a global network of 80 early education classrooms, collaborating with 159 municipalities to fund rural nursery schools.
