The Aragonese Institute of Employment (INAEM) has published the 2026 call for the EMPLE-AR program, endowed with a budget of 2,500,000 euros, aimed at facilitating the hiring of unemployed individuals over the age of 30 in general interest and social projects throughout the community.
This program is specifically directed at groups with greater difficulties in labor insertion. Long-term unemployed individuals, women over the age of 45 with at least 180 days of uninterrupted registration with INAEM, and individuals over the age of 55 with at least 90 days of registration will be eligible for the subsidized contracts.
The beneficiaries of the subsidies are local entities and their public organizations, public law entities, companies and public enterprises linked to the regional administration, Aragonese universities, as well as associations, foundations, and other non-profit organizations that carry out their activities in Aragon.
The subsidized projects must be carried out in Aragon and be linked to activities of general and social interest, aimed at improving the employability of participants and contributing to local development and territorial cohesion.
Requirements and Deadlines
The hiring will be carried out through temporary labor contracts linked to the duration of the submitted projects. The subsidies cover the salary costs and social security contributions of the hired individuals.
The application submission period begins the day after the call is published in the Official Bulletin of Aragon and will remain open until May 15, 2026. All processing will be carried out electronically through the electronic headquarters of the Government of Aragon, in the specific procedure «Subsidies for the EMPLE-AR Program».
This line of subsidies is part of the Government of Aragon’s strategy to promote quality employment among the most vulnerable groups in the labor market and to strengthen the social fabric of Aragonese municipalities through public utility projects.
