Aragon’s agri-food sector is showcasing its offerings at SIAL Paris 2026, held from October 17 to 21, with support from Aragón Exterior (AREX). The event brings together food industry professionals from around the world and provides a commercial platform for products from Aragon, ranging from rice and pickled foods to ham and premium-quality pork.
Aragon’s agri-food offering takes center stage at SIAL Paris
The Aragon delegation includes Arroz Brazal, Amanida, PMF Distribution, La Baturrica, Arruabarrena, Foodibev International, the Protected Designation of Origin Jamón de Teruel, the Teruel Pork PGI, Airesano, Jamones Sierra Palomera, Grupo Arcoiris and Jamones Pastor.
The participating companies represent different segments of the food industry. Arroz Brazal specializes in rice; Amanida produces olives and pickled foods; PMF Distribution markets and exports food products; and La Baturrica produces nuts and dried fruit.
Arruabarrena is attending with pastries and puff-pastry products, while Foodibev International is involved in food and beverage marketing. The presence of the quality certifications and meat producers rounds out an offering also aimed at promoting pork products from Aragon.
Jamón de Teruel and Teruel Pork make their Paris debut with tastings
The Jamón de Teruel PDO and the Teruel Pork PGI are taking part in the fair for the first time, with a space co-financed by AREX, the Just Transition Fund for Teruel and the Teruel Investment Fund (FITE).
The stand will host live cooking demonstrations and tastings led by chef Toño Palacio and ham carver Isidro Escriche. These activities enable the products protected by both quality designations to be presented directly to a professional audience.
AREX strengthens its support for internationalization at SIAL Paris
This is the second consecutive edition in which Aragón Exterior has managed the participation of Aragon-based companies at SIAL Paris, after launching the initiative in 2024. AREX has organized different forms of support: some companies have their own stands and retain their usual location at the fair, while others are participating in the shared space coordinated by ICEX.
The director general for internationalization at the Government of Aragon and AREX vice president, Javier Camo, said the fair brings together buyers from more than 130 countries, with some negotiations progressing or being concluded during the event and in the following weeks. The participation is intended to facilitate commercial contacts and business opportunities for Aragon’s agri-food companies in international markets.
