Huesca Becomes the Youth Talent Capital with the Arrival of the Talent Tour 2026

Huesca will host the Tour of Talent from February 23 to 27, 2026, one of the major national events dedicated to fostering the potential of young people aged 16 to 35. The event, promoted by the Princess of Girona Foundation in collaboration with the Huesca City Council and the Ibercaja Foundation, will turn the Huesca capital into the epicenter of entrepreneurship, employability, culture, and sport during five intense days.

More than 250 activities will unfold across various locations in the city with a clear objective: to activate, mobilize, and connect young talent, generating real opportunities for training, inspiration, and networking.

Princess of Girona CongresFest: the central event

The highlight of the Tour will be on Tuesday, February 24, with the celebration of the Princess of Girona CongresFest at the Huesca Congress Palace. The morning will be dedicated to inspiring talks and discussions with leaders from different sectors—business, science, technology, and the social sphere—who will share experiences of overcoming challenges and leadership.

During the event, the Princess of Girona CreaEmpresa 2026 Award will be announced, one of the most recognized awards in the young entrepreneurial ecosystem in Spain.

The day will be graced by the presence of Her Majesty the Queen, who will also visit the Villahermosa Palace, the headquarters of the Ibercaja Foundation, reinforcing the institutional character and national impact of the event.

Training, employment, and new opportunities

The Tour of Talent will feature an intensive program focused on employability and professional development. Practical workshops, orientation sessions, and meetings with companies will address strategic areas such as science, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

The goal is to provide concrete tools to improve job placement and foster vocations in future-oriented sectors, connecting young people with companies, mentors, and social entities.

Culture and sport as engines of development

The agenda will also include cultural and sports initiatives designed to promote values such as creativity, teamwork, and resilience.

Key activities include:

  • Jazz for Kids, which will kick off the cultural program on Monday, February 23.

  • Chess Tournament, scheduled for Tuesday, February 24.

  • Equation of Talent, a closing sports day at IES Pirámide, which will combine acrosport with testimonials from elite athletes, emphasizing the importance of shared effort and personal overcoming.

Local youth take center stage

One distinguishing aspect of this edition is the direct participation of local youth. A group of 23 young people from Huesca has actively collaborated in designing proposals for the city’s future within the framework of the Tour, contributing ideas on urban development, professional opportunities, and cultural dynamization.

This involvement reinforces the program’s spirit: not just to inspire, but also to listen and empower new generations.

Activities will take place at venues such as the Congress Palace, the Villahermosa Palace (Ibercaja Foundation), and IES Pirámide, among other urban spaces, consolidating a network of institutional and social collaboration.

Registrations and the complete calendar of activities can be consulted through the official website of the Tour of Talent and the Ibercaja Foundation.
