The Zaragoza City Council has announced the program of activities aimed at children during the Fiestas del Pilar 2024. The cultural offerings include parades, theater performances, circus events, and recreational activities that will take place from October 4th to 13th at different locations around the city.
Highlighted Activities and New Additions
León Garganchón and Inaugural Parade
The new parade «Zaragoza is the Lion» will traverse the streets this Saturday starting at 6:30 PM, beginning at CEIP Joaquín Costa, to present León Garganchón, a new children’s slide. During the festivities, León Garganchón will be visiting all neighborhoods of Zaragoza as a traveling attraction.
Festive Traditions
The classic Tragachicos will be held from October 5th to 13th in various locations around the city. At the same time, Giants, Cabezudos, and Caballitos will take to the streets during the same dates at different venues.
Theater and Puppet Programming
Teatro Arbolé
The Puppet Theater of Teatro Arbolé returns from October 4th to 13th on Calle Moret, offering puppet shows for family audiences.
Puppet Park
From October 9th to 13th, the Parque Grande José Antonio Labordeta will host the Puppet Park, where stories will come to life through performances.
Recreational Activities and Circus
Riverside and Parks
«Río y Juego» will take place from October 5th to 13th at the Riverside Expo, offering activities for families to explore, run, and laugh together. Simultaneously, the Parque Delicias will host circus shows from October 5th to 12th.
Special Events
«My Giant Snail,» described as an adventure that progresses slowly, will take place on October 8th at 6:30 PM starting at Plaza Aragón. Additionally, the festivities will reach every neighborhood in Zaragoza from October 5th to 13th at various locations around the city.
