‘Zuera Sabor’ consolidates itself in its third edition as a prominent initiative for gastronomic promotion in Aragon. This series of talks and tastings, focused on local products and innovative culinary experiences, has become a key tool for cultural and economic dissemination in the province of Zaragoza.
Promotion of Local and Cultural Gastronomy
Driven by the City Council of Zuera with the support of the Provincial Council of Zaragoza, ‘Zuera Sabor’ primarily aims to promote quality and local foods while spreading the rich gastronomic culture of the region. In previous editions, the series has achieved full attendance in all its sessions, demonstrating the interest and acceptance of the public.
The 2026 Edition
This edition includes a varied program that ranges from black truffle, known as «the black diamond of Aragon,» to the Ternasco de Aragón with protected designation of origin, nicknamed «the pink meat.» Additionally, there will be an exhibition, a provincial contest, and a tomato tasting, along with a tour of German culinary traditions.
Innovative and Educational Format
The sessions of ‘Zuera Sabor’ combine a playful approach with an educative vocation, allowing producers and professionals to share their knowledge in an accessible and engaging manner. The initiative is designed to be understandable and appealing to all audiences, highlighting local products.
Each event can accommodate up to 120 people, and it is expected that, as in previous editions, attendance will reach full capacity. This strategy not only seeks to educate but also aims to make gastronomy an enriching experience for attendees.
Economic and Touristic Impact in Zaragoza
‘Zuera Sabor’ acts as a tourist showcase that not only attracts visitors but also energizes the local economy and generates opportunities for producers and businesses. This series reinforces the positioning of the province of Zaragoza as a top gastronomic destination, supporting the local agri-food sector.
The 2026 program will begin on February 19 with a session dedicated to Aragonese black truffle, marking the start of a series of events that promise to enrich the cultural and economic offerings of the region.
