Navantia Awards WindWaves €9.2M Contract for New Replenishment Vessel Superstructure

Navantia has awarded WindWaves, a subsidiary of Amper Group, the contract to manufacture the aft superstructure of the new Combat Supply Ship for the Navy. The contract is worth €9.2 million and forms part of the Special Modernization Program linked to the vessel’s construction.

The work will involve approximately 237,000 hours and is scheduled to run from September 2026 through August 2027. The structure will include the bridge and other areas intended for operating the platform.

The contract covers the construction of flat and curved panels, sub-blocks and complete blocks, as well as structural and mechanical steelwork associated with pre-outfitting. It also includes the manufacture of construction cradles and auxiliary structures, along with steel preparation in accordance with the program’s technical requirements.
