CDTI Seeks Spanish Company for Chemical Recycling Project with China

CDTI Innovación is seeking a Spanish industrial company to take part in a technology cooperation project with Chinese partners and the Zaragoza-based technology center CIRCE. The initiative focuses on chemical recycling and the recovery of polymer waste.

According to information published by the Spain-China Council Foundation, the project has a total budget of between €1 million and €1.5 million. The technologies under consideration include pyrolysis, solvolysis, hydrothermal liquefaction, and gasification.

An opportunity still in the partner-search phase

CIRCE’s involvement provides a direct link to Aragon’s scientific and technological ecosystem. For the Spanish company that joins, the project offers a route for international collaboration on industrial processes related to waste treatment and recovery.

The initiative should be understood as a cooperation opportunity in development: CDTI Innovación is seeking a Spanish industrial partner and, based on the available information, it is not yet an approved or implemented investment.
