Through a series of innovative initiatives and support programs, the Government of Aragón aims to strengthen the competitiveness and adaptability of these companies in the current global economic context. Government Initiatives and Support
The primary driver of these initiatives has been the Instituto Aragonés de Fomento (IAF), which has launched the Digitalization Plan for Companies in Aragón. The San Valero Group, in partnership with San Jorge University and other entities, has introduced a Digital Transformation Program for SME managers, funded through the Next Generation European funds. This program provides comprehensive training in key areas such as cybersecurity, big data, artificial intelligence, and innovation methodologies, addressing the needs of business leaders in their digitalization process. The initiative also includes mentoring sessions and assistance in project development to ensure participants not only acquire knowledge but apply it effectively within their organizations.
On a European level, Aragón also benefits from the Aragón European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH), selected under the “Digital Europe” Program. This center is created with the purpose of facilitating access to technical knowledge and cutting-edge tools for companies. Through the Aragón EDIH, businesses can receive financial advice, training, and digital capability development, as well as solutions to address environmental challenges, promoting sustainability and efficiency.
