The Official Bulletin of Aragón has announced a new call for applications for performing arts funding, with a total of €915,000 available for theater, dance, and circus projects. This initiative from the Department of Education, Culture, and Sports aims to boost creativity and cultural development in the Aragonese region.
Call for Applications and Application Process
Entities interested in this funding may submit their applications between April 13 and April 27 through the online processing system. The call is open to both individuals and legal entities, provided they meet the established requirements.
The execution period for the subsidized projects spans from November 14, 2025, to November 13, 2026, offering a full year for the realization of the initiatives.
Funding Modalities and Distribution of Funds
The call includes three funding modalities: production of performing arts shows, tours and performances outside of Aragón, and programming in privately managed exhibition venues. Each modality has a specific financial allocation, with €515,000 for production, €200,000 for tours, and €200,000 for programming in venues.
The maximum amounts per modality are clearly defined: up to €45,000 for production of shows, €15,000 for tours, and €50,000 for programming in exhibition venues. Under no circumstances can the aid exceed the total cost of the submitted activity.
Eligibility Requirements for Funding
To participate in this call, companies must have their registered office in Aragón and be registered in the census of entrepreneurs with activities related to the performing arts. Additionally, only one project can be submitted for each funding modality, thus ensuring an equitable distribution of funds.
This initiative not only seeks to promote the production and dissemination of performing arts but also to strengthen the cultural and economic fabric of the region, fostering innovation and local talent.
