Agriculture Promotes the Promotion of Aragonese Foods with 1.8 Million
The Department of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food of the Government of Aragon published in the Official Bulletin of Aragon a call for grants aimed at promoting Aragonese agricultural and food products with differentiated quality. The initiative has a total allocation of 1.8 million euros, funded by the Government of Aragon, FEADER funds, and the central government.
The call offers beneficiaries up to 70% in subsidy on eligible expenses, with a maximum limit of 600,000 euros per entity. The deadline for submitting applications is November 30, 2025. The main objective is to strengthen the presence and marketing of Aragonese products in all types of markets, improving their competitiveness and increasing the profitability of agricultural operations.
The aid will focus on creating information and promotion campaigns that highlight the excellence and uniqueness of the agri-food products from Aragon at both national and international levels. Specific objectives include promoting cooperation among producer groups and organizations, raising awareness about the differentiated quality of Aragonese foods, and informing consumers about the unique characteristics and value of products originating from Aragon.
Javier Rincón, the Councillor for Agriculture, Livestock, and Food, stated that «We want consumers to recognize and appreciate the uniqueness and excellence of Aragonese foods, which will translate into more opportunities for our producers and sustainable economic development for rural areas.» The Councillor emphasized the commitment of the Government of Aragon to sustainability, innovation, and the promotion of agri-food products, thereby consolidating the Aragon brand as synonymous with agri-food quality.
