The «Aragón es Pyme» Network has taken a significant step with the adhesion of thirteen institutions, including the Provincial Council of Huesca and several municipalities, in its effort to revitalize the Aragonese business landscape. This movement, approved by the Regulatory Council of the Network in Zaragoza, reflects a joint commitment to strengthen the ecosystem of small and medium-sized enterprises in the region.
Boosting Local Economic Development
The «Aragón es Pyme» Network aims to act as a catalyst to attract talent and foster business initiatives that rejuvenate the Aragonese territory. The General Director of SMEs and Self-Employed Workers, Ana Sanz, has highlighted the willingness of local administrations to create a conducive environment that favors the growth of self-employed individuals and SMEs. This effort focuses on strengthening the role of local entities as engines of economic development, promoting coordination among different administrative levels and territorial actors.
Among the first collaborating entities that have joined this initiative are the Teruel Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Social Economy of Aragon, among others. These organizations will play a crucial role in creating a supportive ecosystem that fosters entrepreneurship and innovation in the region.
Collaboration and Transparency in the Network
The operation of the Network is structured through thematic forums and specific workspaces, designed to facilitate the exchange of experiences and the analysis of common challenges. These forums also serve as a platform for disseminating best practices, allowing the collaborating entities to learn and grow together.
The Monitoring Committee, composed of representatives from the Government of Aragon and several key organizations such as the Aragonese Institute of Promotion and the Aragón Emprende Foundation, ensures transparency and oversight of the activities of the Network. The Register of Adhering Entities acts as a public visibility instrument, ensuring that the implemented measures are documented and evaluated annually.
