Government of Aragón increases the Volveremos 2025 budget by two million
The Vice President and Minister of Presidency, Economy and Justice of the Government of Aragón, Mar Vaquero, announced a two million euro increase in the budget for the Volveremos program for 2025. This increase will allow for an extension of the program’s duration, as highlighted by the Vice President during the presentation in Utebo.
Budget Increase and Geographical Coverage
With this increase, the total budget rises to four million euros, doubling the impact of previous campaigns. The new campaign for the Volveremos program will begin on Wednesday, August 27, in 61 municipalities in Aragón, eleven more than in June. The new municipalities include Barbastro, Cadrete, Épila, Estadilla, Fuentes de Rubielos, Rubielos de Mora, Sariñena, Tamarite de Litera, Teruel, Tramacastilla, Valjunquera, and Villamayor de Gállego, while Pina de Ebro will not participate in the Back to School initiative. The balance can be generated on Wednesdays and Fridays until the budget allocated by the Government of Aragón in each municipality is exhausted.
Results of the Summer Campaign
The summer campaign of Volveremos, which started on June 11, recorded 250,000 transactions in 50 participating municipalities, generating 23.68 million euros in business volume in the stores. More than 2.6 million euros in balance was generated, of which 1.2 million have already been discounted in purchases and transferred to the stores. The multiplier effect of this campaign reached a factor close to 10, meaning that for every euro invested by the administrations, Aragonese businesses received 10 euros. The sectors with the highest number of transactions were Food and Beverages, Clothing, Fashion and Footwear, and Furniture, Decoration, and Home.
