Aragón has concluded its participation in Madrid Fusión 2026 with a highly positive balance, establishing itself as a benchmark in the agri-food sector both nationally and internationally. The presence of 21 exhibitors under the «Aragón, Sabor de verdad» brand has showcased the diversity and quality of Aragonese products, marking a milestone for the sector.
Impact of Aragon’s Presence at Madrid Fusión
The Aragón stand became a focal point for chefs, cooks, influencers, journalists, and prescribers. The offerings included premium products such as top-tier wineries, truffles, ham, cheese, and fruits, reflecting the gastronomic wealth of the region. Amparo Cuéllar, General Director of Food Innovation and Promotion, emphasized that the event provided Aragón with «historic prominence and international visibility,» reinforcing its food brand. According to Cuéllar, «when Aragón stands united, the impact is much greater.»
Solidarity Through Teruel Black Truffles
One of the highlights of the congress was the charity auction of two black truffles from Teruel, sponsored by actress Itziar Miranda. The auction raised €15,000, entirely destined for the victims of the Adamuz train tragedy. Renowned Aragonese chefs such as Tonino Valiente, Cristian Palacio, and Iris Jordán participated in this solidarity event alongside Master of Wine Fernando Mora and pastry chef Raúl Bernal.
