The Aragonese Institute for Women Announces €175,000 Grants to Combat Gender Violence

The Institute of Women of Aragon has published a new call for grants in the Official Bulletin of Aragon aimed at non-profit organizations to combat violence against women. The call, published on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, maintains the budget allocation of 175,000 euros from the previous year.

Objectives and Eligible Actions

The grants are intended to fund actions for prevention, awareness, and eradication of all forms of violence against women and their daughters and sons. They also include support for situations of social exclusion related to these forms of violence.

Beneficiary Entities

Organizations, associations, foundations, and federations that meet the following requirements can access these resources:

  • Must be non-profit
  • Must be of public utility or fulfill a social function
  • Must have their headquarters or delegation in Aragon
  • Must develop their activities in the Aragonese community
  • Must promote activities related to the prevention of gender-based violence

Application Process

Applications must be completed and signed electronically through the electronic headquarters of the Government of Aragon (http://www.aragon.es/tramites). The procedure falls under the competencies of the Vice Presidency of the Presidency, Economy, and Justice.
