The General Directors of Labor, Jesús Divassón, and Economic Policy, Javier Martínez, participated in the Automotive Observatory session at Ibercaja Xplora. The meeting brought together representatives from FEMZ, CAAR, and the UGT and Comisiones Obreras unions to analyze the sector’s challenges.
Jesús Divassón highlighted the relevance of the 37 measures proposed in the observatory, which prepare the industry for a more competitive future. Javier Martínez expressed optimism about the sector’s future and emphasized that the program’s anticipatory actions have allowed challenges to be addressed before they arise.
The session continued the work initiated a year ago with the creation of the Observatory, conceived as a tool for collective reflection. It established itself as a space for analysis for the Aragonese industrial ecosystem, driven by the Federation of Metal Companies of Zaragoza (FEMZ) and the Automotive and Mobility Cluster of Aragón (CAAR).
Following the presentation of conclusions in March, the need for dialogue was emphasized to address:
- Attraction of strategic investments
- Digitalization and sustainability
- Talent acquisition
- Industrial diversification
- Support for SMEs in the sector.
