The Volveremos program will launch its Back to School campaign this Wednesday, August 26, marking a new phase of the initiative aimed at boosting purchases in the local Aragonese market. This time, 71 municipalities across the three provinces will participate, expanding the reach of a program that combines funding from the Government of Aragon and the participating municipalities.
During the campaign, purchases made on Wednesdays and Fridays at participating establishments will generate a balance equivalent to 20% of the total amount, which can later be used for new purchases within the Volveremos network. The generation of balance will remain active as long as credit is available in each participating municipality.
The program continues to follow its usual structure. Consumers make purchases at a participating establishment during one of the designated balance generation days and receive a balance in their Volveremos account. This amount does not represent a direct discount on the transaction but rather a balance that can be used afterward at other participating establishments, encouraging spending to remain within the local market.
A campaign reaching 71 municipalities
The Back to School campaign will take place in 71 Aragonese towns, although the availability of the balance will depend on the funds allocated in each municipality. The list of participating locations and the updated conditions can be found through the program’s official channels.
The initiative encompasses establishments from various commercial and service sectors. To participate, businesses must be previously enrolled in the program and meet the established requirements. Consumers, for their part, need to use the Volveremos app to manage the generated balance and spend it afterward.
The campaign’s launch coincides with one of the busiest commercial periods following the summer. The return to school traditionally increases purchases related to school supplies, clothing, footwear, and other products, although the program is not limited exclusively to establishments directly linked to the educational sector.
Volveremos introduces balance transfers between users
One of the main innovations in this edition is the introduction of a feature that allows for transferring balance between Volveremos users, a tool that has been presented as the «Bizum of Volveremos.» This system allows users to send part of their accumulated balance in the app to another person, who can then use it in participating establishments.
The program has also incorporated modifications aimed at facilitating commerce operations and management by municipalities. The platform has expanded its functionalities as the number of municipalities and the volume of transactions have increased.
According to data released in light of the new campaign, Volveremos has accrued over 207,000 transactions in 2026, with a total amount exceeding 21 million euros. More than 66,600 consumers and nearly 3,000 establishments have participated in the program this year. The transactions completed have generated approximately 2.55 million euros in balance, of which around 48% had been used before the start of this new phase.
How to use Volveremos
To participate, consumers must have the Volveremos app and make their purchases at one of the participating establishments. On the designated balance generation days—Wednesdays and Fridays during this campaign—the transaction allows them to accumulate the corresponding percentage, as long as the funds assigned to the municipality remain available.
The balance generated can later be used at the establishments that are part of the program according to their operating conditions. The app allows users to check their available balance as well as the participating merchants and manage operations associated with each user.
