CEOE Aragón and Ibercaja Renew Collaboration Agreement

CEOE Aragón and Ibercaja have renewed their collaboration agreement, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the Aragón Business Council. This pact, signed on May 15, 2026, aims to strengthen the regional business landscape through various joint activities.

Key Activities to Boost Business Competitiveness

Among the highlighted initiatives of the agreement is the X Business Summit for the Competitiveness of Aragón, an annual event that will bring together the Aragón business community in September. During this summit, the Aragón Business Honor Award will be presented to a distinguished business figure. Additionally, the Commitment Gala will be held to recognize the commitment of Aragón companies to society, employment, the territory, sustainability, and individuals.

The agreement also includes the semiannual implementation of the Aragón Competitiveness Survey, designed to identify risk factors in business activities. Furthermore, periodic strategic meetings will be conducted between the members of the Business Council and relevant figures from the economic and political spheres, with the objective of analyzing growth paths for the Aragón economy.

The II Aragón-Navarra Business Meeting, scheduled for June 9 in Pamplona, will be another key event. This gathering aims to strengthen the relationship between the productive sectors of both regions.

New Members and Future Perspectives

This year, the Business Council welcomes five new companies: CEFA, FERSA, Grupo Integra, Lacasa, and Vitalia. These companies join other leading firms such as Alcampo, Endesa, Mercadona, Telefónica, Ibercaja, and Amazon Web Services, among existing members.

From Ibercaja, this agreement is seen as a demonstration of its commitment to Aragón businesses and a tool to intensify business support in the face of current challenges. For its part, CEOE Aragón highlights Ibercaja as a strategic partner, valuing the agreement as a key element to enhance business competitiveness and identify threats and opportunities in the economic environment.
