Dinópolis, the paleontological park of Teruel, has closed the 2025 season with a notable increase of 7.06% in the number of visitors, reaching a total of 152,816. This growth consolidates its position as a reference point in provincial tourism, especially among visitors from the Comunidad Valenciana, Aragón, and Catalonia.

Growth and consolidation in 2025

During 2025, Dinópolis recorded an increase of 11.32% at its main site, reaching 135,567 visitors. Adding the sites distributed throughout the province of Teruel, the total number rises to 152,816 visitors. These results reinforce Dinópolis as a key driver of provincial tourism and a prominent destination in the realm of cultural and scientific leisure in Spain.

The park has managed to capture the attention of a diverse audience, consolidating its tourist and scientific appeal. This growth not only reflects an increase in the number of visitors but also in the quality of the experience offered, which has been fundamental to its continued success.

Visitor profile and its impact

Surveys conducted among visitors reveal that 83.81% considered Dinópolis the main reason for their trip to Teruel. Additionally, 73.11% of visitors stayed overnight away from their usual residence, and among them, 71.66% did so for two or more nights. A notable fact is that 98.86% of visitors would recommend the visit to others, underscoring the general satisfaction with the experience.

The main source markets for visitors were the Comunidad Valenciana, Aragón, and Catalonia, followed by the Comunidad de Madrid and Castilla-La Mancha. At the provincial level, Valencia, Zaragoza, Madrid, Barcelona, and Castellón stood out as the main sources of visitors.

Expectations for the 25th anniversary

Looking ahead to 2026, Dinópolis is preparing to celebrate two important milestones: its 25th anniversary and the arrival of its four millionth visitor. Opened on June 1, 2001, the park plans to intensify its promotional strategies, including campaigns in movie theaters coinciding with the release of «Jurassic World 4,» digital advertising, and collaborations with influencers specialized in leisure and family tourism.

These initiatives aim not only to increase the number of visitors but also to enrich the experience of those who choose Dinópolis as a destination, ensuring its relevance in the national and international tourism landscape.
