600 Aragonese students completed English training through INAEM program
The program Aragón Habla Inglés has trained 600 Aragonese students in the English language, according to data presented by the Minister of Employment, Science, and Universities, Claudia Pérez Forniés. It is a free initiative from the Aragonese Institute of Employment (INAEM), funded by the Government of Aragon with one million euros.
The program is developed by CEOE Aragón and Kings Corner for the training and official certification of the English language. Since May, it has offered 78 courses in 12 locations across the three Aragonese provinces: Jaca, Monzón, Ejea, Tarazona, Fraga, Caspe, Alcañiz, Calamocha, Utrillas, Huesca, Zaragoza, and Teruel.
Of the 600 students already trained, 85% have successfully passed the Oxford exam or reached the optimal level to take it. The third phase of the program will add another 300 students, reaching all Aragonese counties and their municipalities.
Minister Pérez Forniés emphasized that the program was revitalized after four years of absence, considering English language skills as key to employability. Fernando Luna, president of CEOE-CEPYME Huesca, and Jesús Arnau, general director of CEOE Aragón, concurred on the importance of English in a globalized market, particularly for the internationalization of companies and the demand for qualified workers in languages and technology.
