The exhibition «Fantastic Animals,» organized by CEDES Foundation, will be inaugurated at the Joaquín Roncal Center in Zaragoza from June 10 to 28, 2025. This showcase, which includes 40 wooden sculptures created by young individuals from the Transition to Adult Life course, aims to develop artistic and technical skills while fostering collaboration and creativity.
Creative Process
The creative process began with students drawing animals, followed by creating sketches and constructing the sculptures using recycled wood, such as pallets or branches from trees. To define details and shapes, complementary elements such as screws and nails were incorporated.
Engagement and Teamwork
The activity was not limited to the students of the course; it extended to other users of the school, who also had the opportunity to draw their animals. This allowed all participants to develop their imagination collaboratively.
Inclusive and Educational Approach
This initiative is part of the Transition to Adult Life course and reinforces the mission of CEDES Foundation to promote inclusion, learning, and personal development for individuals with functional diversity. The foundation has over 25 years of experience in this field.
The «Fantastic Animals» exhibition not only highlights the artistic value of each piece, reflecting the individual vision of the young creators, but also demonstrates the social commitment and the emphasis on autonomy and integration promoted by CEDES Foundation.
