The International Festival of Cultures Pirineos Sur has completed its lineup for the XXXII edition with the inclusion of Manu Chao, Nathy Peluso, and Elena Rose, which will take place from July 10 to 27 in Lanuza, Huesca. This event stands out for its musical diversity and the strong presence of Latin American artists.
Featured Artists
Manu Chao will perform on July 16 in an acoustic and reduced format, interpreting hits like King of the Bongo and Me gustas tú. This concert will have a lower ticket price and will be preceded by DJ Mr. Pendejo.
Nathy Peluso will take the stage on July 23 to present her album GRASA, which blends rap, ballads, and tropical rhythms. The Argentine artist, who won a Latin GRAMMY in 2021, returns to the festival after her performance in 2022.
Elena Rose, Venezuelan singer-songwriter and recent winner of the HEAT Latin Music Awards, will perform songs like Orión and Me lo merezco. Her collaboration with Ed Sheeran in Mexico has boosted her international career.
Program and Musical Variety
The festival’s program includes 26 concerts spread over 13 dates, highlighting the participation of artists such as Michael Kiwanuka, Ben Harper, Julieta Venegas, and Residente. The focus is on Latin American music, with representatives from Mexico, Brazil, Puerto Rico, and Cuba.
The festival has implemented measures to reduce its ecological impact, including priority transport by foot, by bicycle, or through shuttle buses from Formigal, as well as bicycle parking and a free area for motorhomes.
Tickets are available on the festival’s website, except for the dates of July 19 and 20, which are already sold out.
Pirineos Sur, organized by the Diputación de Huesca for 31 years, has consolidated its position as an important promoter of cultural tourism and multicultural exchange through music.
