From July 10 to August 31, 2025, the Natural Network of Aragón, under the auspices of the General Directorate of Environmental Education of the Government of Aragón, will carry out the program «Discover Your Natural Side». This program offers more than 400 free activities in nine Protected Natural Areas and over 15 Interpretation Centers in Aragón.
The activities include guided walks, workshops for identifying fauna and flora, ethnographic tours, and family games. Highlights include the walk «Landscapes of Water, from Rodellar to the Mascún River» in the Natural Park of Sierra and Canyons of Guara, the route «Getting to Know the Horcajuelo Gorge» in the Natural Park of Moncayo, and «Casetos de Dornaquejos, forest management in Rodeno» in the Protected Landscape of the Rodeno Pine Forests.
In the field of wildlife observation, activities such as Benasque from an Eagle’s Perspective in the Posets Maladeta Natural Park and «Searching for the Apollo Butterfly» in the Natural Park of the Western Valleys are offered. Additionally, the workshop «Introduction to Botany» in the Protected Landscape of San Juan de la Peña and the botanical walk «Green, I Love You Green» in the Sierra and Canyons of Guara are part of the botanical experiences offered.
Participation and Registrations
In 2024, the program had 23,297 participants in the activities and 65,400 visitors to the interpretation centers. All activities are free but require prior registration, which can be done through the official website www.rednaturaldearagon.com.
