Zaragoza to Welcome Spring with the ‘Hello Spring’ Festival 2025

The city of Zaragoza is preparing to celebrate the arrival of spring with the second edition of the ‘Hola Primavera’ festival, a vibrant cultural event that will transform the Plaza del Pilar into an artistic and lively space. Organized by the City Council of Zaragoza through Zaragoza Cultural, this festival promises a diverse and engaging program for all audiences.

Festival Dates and Location

The festival will take place from March 21 to March 23, 2025, in the Plaza del Pilar, one of the most iconic areas of Zaragoza.

Cultural Program and Artistic Initiatives

The event will feature five small stages, thematically designed with spring motifs, known as the «Art Walk», where micro-performances by Aragonese artists from various disciplines will be presented.

The festival includes a wide range of activities, such as painting, parades, theater, and music, ensuring options for all ages and interests.

Featured Artistic and Musical Performances

The Berlin collective Plastique Fantastique will be one of the highlights, bringing an international artistic touch to the event.

Musical performances will include a concert by Héroes del Swing and a session by DJ Cuquette and Calavera.

Activities for Families and Children

A reading space for children and young people will be set up, managed by the Board of Education and Libraries, offering books and a cozy area for families to enjoy together.

Tulip Market and Solidarity

The «Tulip Market» will be a new feature, inspired by Tulip Day in New York and Amsterdam, with an exhibition of 2,000 tulips. The proceeds from the sale of these flowers will be donated to Aspanoa, a solidarity initiative.

Spring-Related Sports Activities

On Sunday, the festival will include various sports activities, taking advantage of the arrival of spring to encourage outdoor exercise. More than a dozen sports disciplines will be represented, coinciding with the final phase of the Copa de la Reina in Zaragoza.

Broad and Diversified Cultural Program

The cultural and entertainment program will extend beyond the central event, with activities in all districts and rural neighborhoods from March 24 to April 12, in collaboration with local merchant associations.

Economic and Cultural Impact of the Festival

The event aims to boost local commerce and highlight the economic impact of cultural activities. «Alimentos de Aragón» will also participate to promote local products and support the hospitality sector.

The second edition of ‘Hola Primavera’ in Zaragoza promises to be a vibrant celebration of spring, culture, and community. With its diverse program, the festival seeks to turn Zaragoza into a living museum, engaging all community members and visitors. This event is part of the broader initiative «Plaza Más Viva,» designed to keep the Plaza del Pilar active with cultural and social activities throughout the year.
