The Aragonese Institute for Women (IAM) has launched a new edition of IAMFormación, offering 900 places in a free training program. This initiative focuses on promoting gender equality and improving women’s employability through 18 training actions distributed across five strategic areas.
IAMFormación is structured around five thematic axes that aim to address various training needs. In the area of Violence against women, the courses cover topics such as gender violence in women over 65 years old, digital violence in adolescence, and sexual violence. Victim rights and intervention guidelines are also included.
In the realm of Equality in the workplace, sessions are offered on sexual harassment protocols and gender equality measures in companies, including success stories and equality plans that range from diagnosis to evaluation.
The Digital Area focuses on the use of tools like Canva and artificial intelligence applications for design, as well as digital marketing and communication projects.
Promotion of entrepreneurship and employability
The training in Entrepreneurship includes courses on digital marketing, finance, and business leadership, aimed at women entrepreneurs looking to enhance their management skills. Additionally, the Guidance and Employment area offers digital job guidance and preparation for selection processes, as well as understanding payroll and contracts.
The courses are taught via videoconference, with a duration of two hours and a maximum of 50 places per session. Registrations are conducted exclusively through the website www.iamformacion.es, where the complete calendar, content, and requirements for each course are available.
In the past year, IAMFormación recorded 856 participations, of which 34.83% came from rural areas. This reflects IAM’s commitment to reaching all territories, avoiding unnecessary travel. In addition to the courses, IAM offers complementary services such as Business and Labor Consultations, which provide free support in developing entrepreneurship projects, advising on equality plans, and job searching.
