The Horeca Awards 2026 have reached the midpoint of their edition with a remarkable success in participation. More than 40 restaurants in Zaragoza and its province are offering tasting menus until March 15, highlighting the rich local gastronomic offer in a unique national event.
Culinary Innovation with Aragonese Products
The tasting menus of the Horeca Awards 2026 focus on the quality of Aragonese products. Dishes such as the tartare of cured longaniza from Graus with pickles and mustard ice cream, or the sturgeon from the Pyrenees with its caviar, are some of the proposals that stand out in this edition. The prices of these menus range between 40 and 60 euros, although some restaurants have opted to offer pay-what-you-want options, thus demonstrating flexibility aimed at attracting a broader audience.
Evaluation and Opportunities for Recognition
A professional jury will be responsible for evaluating the best menus, with the results to be announced at a gala on March 23 at the Auditorium of Zaragoza. The award categories include best menu at 40 euros, best menu at 60 euros, best restaurant in the province, and best service. Additionally, several establishments have included a tapa in their menus, with the option to represent Horeca Restaurants Zaragoza at the Official Hospitality Championship of Spain – Tapas and Pinchos in the 2027 edition of Madrid Fusión.
Institutional Support and Collaboration
The 2026 edition is backed by the Government of Aragon, the City Council of Zaragoza, the Provincial Council of Zaragoza, and Tourism of Aragon. Furthermore, various private and institutional sponsors related to gastronomy, beverages, and specialized services have shown their support, thus reinforcing the importance of this event in the national gastronomic calendar.
