Huesca Launches the 2026 Talent Tour

Huesca has kicked off the second stop of the Talent Tour 2026, a key event for promoting youth entrepreneurship in Spain. Held at the Higher Polytechnic School of Huesca, the event has brought together young people, companies, and institutions with the aim of enhancing young talent and creating a real impact on society.

Women’s Leadership in Entrepreneurship

During the day, five female entrepreneurs who are finalists for the Princess of Girona CreaEmpresa Award 2026 presented innovative projects with a strong social, environmental, and technological impact. Patricia Aymà Maldonado stood out with her development of biodegradable bioplastics, while Beatriz de los Mozos Velasco focused on the internationalization of sustainable craftsmanship. Elena Martínez Martínez presented her initiative to transform marine waste into bioproducts, Carla Maté Goldar developed neuroprotective treatments for eye diseases, and Natalia Rodríguez Núñez-Milara proposed artificial intelligence solutions with significant social impact.

The jury’s decision will be announced tomorrow, Tuesday, February 24, at the Congress Palace, in the presence of Her Majesty the Queen, underscoring the importance of this recognition in the field of youth entrepreneurship.

Talent Forum: Employability and Professional Purpose

The event also served as a forum for connecting young people aged 18 to 30 with local companies. Crucial topics such as employability, career guidance, and social impact innovation were discussed. Students, entrepreneurs, and experts in emotional competencies participated, highlighting the relevance of continuous education and adaptability in the current labor market.

Companies like Amazon Web Services and Fundación Ibercaja shared the most valued skills and competencies today, emphasizing the importance of being prepared for the constant changes in the job market.

Resources and Regional Partnerships

Entities such as Walqa and Fundación Caja Rural de Aragón offered resources and support to young people to transform their ideas into viable business projects. In addition, the Scholarship Program of the Princess of Girona Foundation provided access to training opportunities in emerging areas such as data and artificial intelligence applied to marketing.

In its four years of existence, the Talent Tour has reached over 100,000 participants, helping them develop skills in emotional management, teamwork, and leadership, and to expand their networks to boost their entrepreneurial initiatives.
