The Ibercaja Foundation and the Hydrogen Foundation of Aragón have joined forces to promote sustainable mobility through the Mobility City initiative. This agreement, signed by José Luis Rodrigo, General Director of the Ibercaja Foundation, and Mar Vaquero, Vice President of the Government of Aragón, aims to foster synergies in the fields of energy, transportation, and technological innovation.
Strategic Collaboration for Innovation
The agreement between both foundations focuses on the development of training activities and the organization of specialized conferences and events. Furthermore, innovative services and products will be promoted, with a focus on sustainable mobility. The collaboration includes joint participation in activities, mutual support in disseminating initiatives, and the creation of projects that facilitate the exchange of strategic information.
This collaborative approach seeks not only to enhance knowledge and innovation but also to create a tangible impact in the transport and energy sectors, aligning with global trends towards more sustainable mobility.
Mobility City: A Space for the Future of Mobility
Mobility City has established itself as a reference platform in the debate on the future of mobility. Since its inception in June 2018, it has brought together partners from various sectors, including automotive, telecommunications, energy, and more. The initiative focuses on organizing meetings that address topics such as transportation, infrastructure, and technologies related to hydrogen.
The collaboration between the Ibercaja Foundation and the Hydrogen Foundation of Aragón in this context seeks to strengthen the role of Mobility City as a catalyst for ideas and projects that promote sustainability and innovation in transportation.
Impact on Territorial Development
With this agreement, the Ibercaja Foundation reaffirms its commitment to sustainability and territorial development, supporting initiatives that promote economic and social progress. Meanwhile, the Hydrogen Foundation of Aragón, based at the Walqa Technology Park in Huesca, continues its work in developing hydrogen as an energy vector, backed by 94 member companies.
Through this alliance, both foundations aim not only to innovate in the field of mobility but also to contribute to the economic and social development of the Aragón region, positioning it as a benchmark in sustainability and technology.
