For the third consecutive year, the Ibercaja Foundation has selected ten Aragonese artists, aged between 18 and 34, to showcase their works at the Espacio Joven. This initiative is part of the «Espacio Joven for Artistic Development» program, aimed at boosting the careers of new artistic talents through exhibitions and murals, starting in September 2025.
Selected Artists and Modalities
In the individual exhibitions category, the selected artists are Alba Cantera with «Evolución», Ana Simón with «Minimúsicos», Clara Romeo with «Slow», Daniel Martín with «Posturas mentales», and Lidia Roncal with «Música para mirar». In the collective exhibitions category, Alicia Blasco with «Craft» and Estela Ferrer with «Cuerpos Etéreos» will participate. Additionally, in the Community Wall category, artists Clara Romeo, Inés Oliveras, and Martín De Domingo will contribute works titled «Slow», «¡Silla y fresca!», and «Amor propio», respectively.
Nearly 150 artists have participated in the first three editions of this program, and over 10,000 people visited the exhibitions during the year 2024.
The initiative aims not only to complement the Ibercaja Foundation’s Young Painting Award but also to provide a showcase for emerging artists at the beginning of their careers and to turn the Espacio Joven into a platform for creation, reflection, and debate on Aragonese art.
