The Aragonese Women’s Institute (IAM) has launched 18 free courses to be held between September and December to strengthen gender equality, employability, entrepreneurship, and digital skills. The program, which has limited capacity, also addresses the prevention of and response to violence against women.
Eighteen IAM courses on equality, employment, and digital skills
The IAM training plan is structured around six areas: violence against women, equality in the workplace, digital skills, entrepreneurship, career guidance and employment, and gender equality awareness. The initiatives target different groups depending on the subject matter, ranging from intervention professionals to women entrepreneurs, people seeking or looking to improve their employment prospects, and the general public.
In the violence-against-women section, courses will cover gender-based violence among adolescents, support for men with violence-control issues, digital violence among teenagers, and new forms of control and abuse. Training on intervention in cases of sexual violence will also be included.
The program dedicated to equality in organizations will address corporate equality plans, sexual and sex-based harassment protocols, and pay audits. The IAM presents these sessions as tools for implementing procedures linked to the equality-related obligations of companies and organizations.
Training for women entrepreneurs, employment, and digital presence
The digital area will include content on practical guidance for women entrepreneurs in the digital era, content marketing and storytelling, as well as artificial intelligence and applications aimed at digital success. The program is complemented by specialized training for women seeking to strengthen their professional or business activity.
In entrepreneurship, courses will focus on content creation and visual design, administrative procedures and legal structures for starting a business, and a workshop on entrepreneurship in seven steps. In career guidance and employment, sessions will cover how to find work online, the labor market and personal branding, as well as key points for understanding a pay stub and an employment contract.
The gender equality awareness strand is aimed at the general public and includes two topics related to the digital environment: online video games, streamers, and equality; and the manosphere, algorithms, and anti-feminist discourse.

The 18 training activities will be delivered by videoconference, will last two hours, and will have a maximum of 50 places per course. Registration is now available through iamformacion.es.
Participants who complete 100 percent of the training will receive a diploma. In addition, attendees may supplement the course content with personalized consultations through the IAM’s business and employment advisory services.
