Isaac Vicioso, CEO of Araiz Electrical Supplies, has been awarded the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 award for Aragón. The ceremony, held at the Finca de las Hiedras in Zaragoza, was attended by Mayor Natalia Chueca and Pablo Sanz, the partner responsible for the award at the national level, along with prominent representatives from the business and institutional sectors.
Araiz Electrical Supplies: leadership in the sector
Araiz Electrical Supplies, founded in 1968, has established itself as a benchmark in the distribution of electrical materials in Spain. Based in Zaragoza, the company operates 18 offices in various regions including Aragón, Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, the Basque Country, and Catalonia, employing over 300 people. In 2025, Araiz surpassed 100 million euros in revenue, standing out for its commitment to quality, energy efficiency, and personalized customer service. Additionally, it was a pioneer in Spain by digitizing its electrical materials warehouse.
Innovation in training and employment
Since 2009, Araiz has been part of the international networks GRUDILEC and IMELCO, reinforcing its commitment to innovation. In 2010, the company launched the Industrial Technical School (ETI), a training center accredited by SEPE, INAEM, and FUNDAE. This center offers advanced courses in automation, robotics, pneumatics, renewable energy, lighting, and telecommunications, acting as a catalyst for job creation in the sector.
Expansion projects and international recognition
Isaac Vicioso has announced the construction of a new headquarters in Zaragoza, a project of 15,000 square meters that will drive growth and innovation in the region. Furthermore, Araiz will compete in the national final of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award in Madrid in April 2026. The winner of this phase will represent Spain in Monte Carlo, facing approximately 60 entrepreneurs from around the world for the prestigious international award.
