The Ibercaja Foundation has inaugurated the exhibition «Mercedes-Benz. Motorsport. The Spirit of the Silver Arrows» at Mobility City, an unprecedented showcase in Spain featuring some of the brand’s most iconic competition vehicles. The original models come from the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart.
The exhibition is located at the Zaha Hadid Bridge and offers a circular route that guides visitors through the technological, sporting, and aesthetic evolution of Mercedes-Benz in motorsport. The itinerary covers the origins of the brand up to contemporary competitions, with a special focus on Formula 1, and also includes rally and DTM vehicles.
The exhibition design has been conceived to highlight each vehicle as a starring piece. It features a ramp inspired by historical circuits, along with a central roundabout dedicated to Formula 1 that connects the past and present of the discipline.
The exhibition coincides with the start of the new Formula 1 season and emphasizes the legacy of the so-called Silver Arrows, the iconic single-seaters from Mercedes-Benz that symbolize innovation, speed, and technical excellence.
The inauguration was attended by representatives from the Ibercaja Foundation, who highlighted the experiential nature of the proposal and the dialogue established between Mobility City in Zaragoza and the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart.
Mobility City is celebrating its third anniversary this year after surpassing 500,000 visitors and organizing nearly 400 activities since its opening. The space is establishing itself as a technological platform for demonstration and learning to promote sustainable mobility in Spain.
The exhibition will be open to the public at the Zaha Hadid Bridge, home of Mobility City.
