The Society of Aragonesian Agro-environmental Management receives the Bronze award in the II Ranking of Companies for Equality in Aragon and the Silver award in the National Ranking for its progress in equal policies.
The Society of Aragonesian Agro-environmental Management (SARGA) has been recognized with the Bronze award in the Large Company category in the II Ranking of Companies for Equality in Aragon, promoted by the Woman Forward Foundation. This event, held at the Etopia building in Zaragoza, was supported by the Government of Aragon, the City Council of Zaragoza, CEOE Aragon, and Women Directors of Aragon.
In addition to the regional award, SARGA has also received the Silver award in the category of improvement in equality in the last year within the National Ranking of Companies for Equality, which is also compiled by the Woman Forward Foundation. In this national list, SARGA ranks 41st, placing it among the top 50 companies in the country most committed to gender equality.
These recognitions are the result of systematic work on equality, reflected in the II Equality Plan of the entity, signed on November 24, 2023. Among the evaluated measures are policies on recruitment, promotion, compensation, work-life balance, harassment prevention, and gender balance at all organizational levels. Currently, the SARGA management committee consists of 40% women and 60% men, a fact that evidences the real commitment to parity in decision-making positions.
The Director of People and Labor Relations at SARGA, Victoria de Marco, was responsible for collecting the award, sharing the recognition with other prominent entities in this edition. In the Large Company category, the first prize went to Hospital San Juan de Dios, followed by Inycom. Other companies such as Taisi, Ibersyd, Schako Iberia, and Querqus were also awarded.
The organization has valued this double award as an incentive to continue working on continuous improvement, consolidating SARGA as a benchmark for equality within the Aragonese public business sector.
