Aragon has taken a significant step to reinforce its role in the global energy transition by showcasing its hydrogen initiatives at the European Hydrogen Week 2024. Scheduled to run from November 18 to 22 in Brussels, this prominent event is co-organised by Hydrogen Europe, the European Commission, and the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, creating a vital forum for stakeholders across the hydrogen value chain.
The Aragon Hydrogen Foundation will play a pivotal role at the event, featuring a dedicated stand in Hall 11-F6 where participants can explore various hydrogen projects and engage in vital networking opportunities. In addition, representatives from the foundation will take part in key discussions, including sessions on the development of hydrogen valleys, the role of local governments in advancing hydrogen technologies, and safety protocols for hydrogen mobility and residential use.
One anticipated highlight is a session led by Guillermo Figueruelo, Head of the Strategic Area at the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation, scheduled for November 20. This session will delve into the essential contributions of local governments toward fostering hydrogen advancements, with a focus on community acceptance and educational initiatives.
With an expected attendance of over 8,000 and more than 8,000 square meters of exhibition space, European Hydrogen Week promises extensive networking opportunities. Attendees will have access to the latest innovations in electrolyser and fuel cell technologies, and may also have the chance to test hydrogen vehicles, further illustrating the practical applications of hydrogen in the energy sector.
The event will also feature discussions on regulatory frameworks critical to the hydrogen sector, addressing sector-specific decarbonization challenges and examining how hydrogen can sustain industry leadership.
