Silvia Lasheras, director of Tecalsa, received the honorary plaque proposed by the Department of Interior and Public Security of the Generalitat de Catalunya on Friday, September 26, as part of the Catalan Day of Private Security.
Tecalsa received the award for its work during 2024, highlighting its positive evolution in managing verifications and alarm notification communications in Catalonia, contributing to the reduction of the number of false alarms that the Mossos de Escuadra must respond to.
Upon receiving the recognition, Silvia Lasheras emphasized the importance of this award: This achievement is not individual. It is the result of the commitment, coordination, and teamwork of all our colleagues who, day by day, contribute their experience, judgment, and willingness for continuous improvement. The awards ceremony, held at the Auditori de Cornellà de Llobregat, was presided over by Interior and Public Security Minister, Núria Parlon, who stressed the importance of public-private collaboration: We need an integrated system where public and private security work hand in hand to achieve good results, not only now but also for the future.
She confirmed this during the celebration of the 11th edition of the Catalan Day of Private Security, which also included the participation of the director general of the Mossos d’Esquadra, Josep Lluís Trapero; the chief commissioner, Miquel Esquius; and the director general of the Institut de Seguretat Pública de Catalunya, Marta Roca.
