The solidarity initiative «A Wish Fulfilled,» promoted by Fundación Ibercaja for the second consecutive year, has already selected a winning project in Aragón. The chosen entity is Fundación Aspace Zaragoza, which works with individuals with cerebral palsy and related conditions throughout all stages of their lives.
The awarded project will enhance access to augmentative and alternative communication systems through eye-control technology aimed at adults with severe communication difficulties. Thanks to the financial support from the call, the entity has been able to incorporate a ComuniQaEye communication screen, along with its support and license, a tool that facilitates expression and interaction through eye movement.
Fundación Aspace Zaragoza emphasizes that communication is a key element for autonomy and social participation. In this regard, the implementation of technological systems that allow users to express decisions, emotions, or needs represents a significant advancement in their quality of life.
The non-profit organization offers specialized comprehensive care and operates under a quality management system that encompasses all its areas of action. Its objective is to create inclusive environments where each person can develop their full potential, enhancing not only their well-being but also that of their families.
The «A Wish Fulfilled» initiative was created to financially support social projects that contribute to transforming the lives of individuals in vulnerable situations. With this second edition, Fundación Ibercaja reinforces its commitment to promote solidarity initiatives in the Aragonese community, supporting proposals that have a direct impact on the social environment.
