Xcelence Aragón Begins New Academic Year with 16 Additional Educational Centers
The Xcelence Aragón orientation program kicked off its 2025-2026 academic year on Wednesday, October 15, at the Juan de Lanuza Teacher Training Center in Zaragoza, incorporating 16 new educational centers into this initiative driven by the Government of Aragón, Bertelsmann Foundation, and Ibercaja Foundation.
The training program, which began in 2023, aims to strengthen the orientation systems in Aragonese educational centers. Currently, it has a total of 39 participating educational centers. The program proposes three specific areas of development: implementing the Xcelence quality framework, training the Academic and Professional Strategy Coordinator (CEAP), and enhancing the relationship with the professional world through the website empresasqueinspiran.com.
The event began with a welcome that acknowledged the efforts of the educational centers already integrated into the community. The inauguration featured Ana Moracho, General Director of Educational Policy, Academic Organization, and Lifelong Learning of the Government of Aragón; Juan José Juárez, person in charge of the Orientation Project at the Bertelsmann Foundation; and Mayte Santos, Head of Professional Development at the Ibercaja Foundation.
The second part of the day was dedicated to the commencement of specific training for the 2025-2026 academic year, tailored to the year of each center’s incorporation into the program.
