On Saturday, August 8, 2026, the Monastery of Veruela will host one of the most internationally acclaimed and awarded contemporary flamenco bands: Las Migas.
With 20 years of experience and six studio albums, the group led by guitarist and composer Marta Robles (based in Menorca) has established itself as one of the most solid and admired proposals in the Spanish music scene. Their music has crossed borders and has been heard in over 50 countries across all continents.
An Impressive Track Record
Las Migas have been nominated four times for the Latin Grammy in the category of Best Flamenco Album (2016, 2022, 2024, and 2025). They won the award in 2022 and reclaimed it in 2025 with their latest work «Flamencas». Additionally, they received the MIN Award for Best Flamenco Album in 2019 for «Cuatro» and in 2023 for «Libres».
In May 2025, they released their new album «Flamencas», a tribute to the essence and purity of flamenco, but with a more contemporary and powerful perspective. The aesthetic strength of the album is already evident in the music video for the first single «Celos», directed by renowned fashion photographer Javier Biosca.
Luxury Collaborations
Throughout their career, Las Migas have collaborated with major names from various genres, including Estrella Morente, Viva Suecia, Rozalén, El Kanka, Kevin Johansen, Tomatito, Miguel Poveda, Raül Refree, and Josemi Carmona. This ability to bridge genres and generations is one of their defining characteristics.
Today, Las Migas is a well-established and vibrant group, with over 950,000 followers on Instagram and thousands of listeners worldwide.
