Plaza del Pilar will host a free music program from October 10 to 18, featuring leading names in Spanish pop, electronic music, symphonic concerts, and numerous performances of jota and Aragonese folk music.
The program will be split between two venues within the square itself: the Ambar Fuente de Goya stage, reserved for major concerts and select special shows, and the Fuente de la Hispanidad stage, which will host numerous jota performances, folk groups, and children’s schools. The format will offer a range of musical styles throughout the nine days of celebrations, with events scheduled in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
Antonio Orozco and Dani Fernández to launch the headline concerts
On Saturday, October 10, coinciding with the official opening of the festivities, Antonio Orozco will headline the first major concert in Plaza del Pilar. His performance will begin at 9:30 p.m. on the Ambar Fuente de Goya stage. Earlier, at 8:50 p.m., Mar Giménez will perform in the lead-up to the opening proclamation.
Dani Fernández will take the stage at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, at the same venue. The folk program will also begin over the weekend. On Sunday, October 11, the Fuente de la Hispanidad stage will host performances by D’Aragón and Royo del Rabal as part of the Denominación de Origen series.
Pilar Day to be dedicated to jota and folk music
On Monday, October 12, the central day of the festivities, traditional music will take center stage in Plaza del Pilar. At 5 p.m., the Ambar Fuente de Goya stage will welcome the winners of the Aragonese Jota competitions. At 8:30 p.m., the same stage will host a folk festival organized by the Federation of Regional and Provincial Associations in Aragon.
Traditional programming will continue on Tuesday, October 13, with a particularly busy schedule at the Fuente de la Hispanidad stage, including performances by various children’s jota schools and folk groups.
Symphonic and electronic music with Andrés Campo
On Wednesday, October 14, Plaza del Pilar will welcome the Carlos Cruz Díez Symphony Orchestra. A day later, Huesca-born DJ Andrés Campo will present Alma Bakala, an electronic music show at Espacio Zity.
Malú to headline the final Saturday of the festivities
On Saturday, October 17, Malú will perform at 9 p.m. on the Ambar Fuente de Goya stage. The day will combine traditional music and contemporary pop, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Fuente de la Hispanidad stage with folk performances.
Ara Malikian, Nacho del Río, and the Ixena Choir to close the festivities
On Sunday, October 18, the final day of the 2026 Fiestas del Pilar, the square will host a special closing concert featuring Ara Malikian, Nacho del Río, Beatriz Bernad, and the Ixena Choir. The show will conclude with a performance of José Antonio Labordeta’s «Somos.»
How to get to Plaza del Pilar during the festivities
The stages’ location in Zaragoza’s historic center makes them accessible on foot from different parts of the city. Public transportation is a recommended alternative, especially on the busiest days.
