The Government of Aragon has launched a grant program totaling 1,694,000 euros, aimed at private non-profit tourism entities. These grants, managed by the General Directorate of Tourism and Hospitality, aim to boost the promotion and dissemination of the region’s tourism and gastronomic offerings for the year 2026.
Entities wishing to apply for these grants must be private, non-profit, and properly registered at the regional, provincial, county, or local level. Additionally, it is essential that their corporate purpose focuses on tourism promotion or the development of tourism or gastronomic projects in Aragon. Another essential requirement is compliance with tax obligations and social security.
Fundable projects and activities
The grants will cover a wide range of activities, from advertising campaigns and the editing of promotional material to the creation of digital content. They will also fund attendance at fairs, the organization of tourism and gastronomic events, and familiarization trips. Additionally, initiatives promoting the creation of innovative tourist products such as routes and packages will be encouraged, always aimed at differentiation and specialization of the destination.
Financial details and important deadlines
Projects applying for these grants must have a minimum investment of 4,000 euros and not exceed 60,000 euros. The execution of the subsidized activities must be completed by October 15, 2026. The deadline to submit applications is fifteen business days from the publication of the extract in the Official Bulletin of Aragon, which requires prompt action from interested entities.
