The foreign language short film competition «3,2,1 AACTION!» has celebrated its third edition with the participation of various Aragonese institutes. The IES Leonardo de Chabacier, Corona de Aragón, Miguel Servet, and Martínez Vargas have been awarded for their outstanding productions, while the IES Mar de Aragón received a special recognition for the most creative cover design. This event, supported by the Department of Education, Science, and Universities, aims to promote language learning through audiovisual creation.
Acknowledgments for Educational Excellence
The winning institutes excelled in different categories: the IES Leonardo de Chabacier in language competition, the IES Corona de Aragón in audiovisual communication, the IES Miguel Servet in digital competition, and the IES Martínez Vargas in artistic competition. Additionally, the IES Mar de Aragón in Caspe was awarded for its creativity in cover design. This competition, an initiative by the Department of Education, Science, and Universities, has reached its third edition with the goal of encouraging active language learning.
A Gala Celebrating Linguistic Diversity
The final gala of the competition took place at the Etopia auditorium in Zaragoza and brought together 96 students from 13 educational institutions in Aragon. María Ángeles Alonso Hernández, a technical advisor for communicative competence development, was present along with a jury that selected the winners. This event not only celebrates the talent of young filmmakers but also promotes linguistic and cultural diversity among the participants.
Encouraging Creativity and Practical Learning
The «3,2,1 AACTION!» competition aims to provide a space where students can practice languages in an original and communicative way. The projects presented, covering a wide variety of genres and themes, stand out for their quality and creativity. By involving students in scriptwriting, filming, and editing short films, it fosters teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking, while also enhancing digital skills.
